Recent makeup buys
Hello everyone,
I have a beauty haul for you today, I thought I would some of the bits I have been picking up recently considering I haven't done a haul in ages! I have been buying a lot lately, especially clothing pieces but I may share that with you another time!
The first and the most exciting thing I have picked up is the Sleek Cream Contour Kit in light, yes you read that right! Their are now cream contour kit that are comparable to the ABH one, this was £10.99 and I am just so excited to use it! Hopefully I can get some nice contouring and highlighting going on, especially with the 6 different shades! I have read a couple of review about this and they all seem positive so far! (£10.99 - link)
My friend and I were both trying to decide the best way to applying this contour kit, then we came across this foundation and concealer brush from Primark, we thought we'd give it a go as it looks like the perfect shape for getting a good contour and highlight. This brush is only £1.50 so if it's rubbish it's not big loss! The the second brush I have been dying to true is the Real Techniques setting brush, as this is going to be great for a whole host of things from powder to potentially concealer and more!(£1.50 & £6.99 - link)
I have wanted to try this foundation for ages now as everyone seems to go on about this! I have gone to Estee Lauder counters to get testers and colour matched, and on pay day I said f**k it and just brought it! I got the shade 1CO Shell, and is a perfect match! I have to say getting new high end foundations is the best, but even foundations in general for that matter! The best thing about this foundation is the range of shades, but the fact that this is meant to be more or less suitable for everyone! (£30.00 - link)
Lately I have been getting real paranoid over my pores, blackheads and just skin in general. I have seen lots of reviews on the blackhead charcoal masks, so I decided while boots were having a 3 for 2, that I would pick this up to begin with which is the Boots tea tree witch hazel 2 step nose pore strips,! I am so excited to try this as it's got two different steps which are meant to help with blackhead and pores, so hopefully this works! (£5.99 - link)
The last two things that I got from the 3 for 2, is the Tea Tree witch hazel nose pore strips, this is that I wanted from boots before I got sucked into the deals. I have had these before and were good, but I need to try it again for my overall opinion. Lastly I got the Tea tree witch hazel charcoal facial mask, as I am hoping this is going to benefit my skin overall, but we shall see how I get on! (£4.99 & £3.59 - link and link)

Bedside Table Skin Care
Hello everyone,
Lately I have been sorting out my bedside table skin care routine, I have recently organised my skin care and I am very happy with the storage I have used.
This is an over view of the box, the box is from Primark and it cost £5, but when I got to the check out it was £1.50. This box is perfect for storing little things like skin care, just because it's sectioned and big enough.
In the big section on the left, and here I have the bigger bottles. I have a Skin Therapy moisturiser for oily and combination skin; this is from Wilkinsons, I use this moisturiser in the morning, before I put my makeup on. Next to that I have some E45, because I have been getting some dry patches on my face because of the weather. Then I also have this new serum I picked up yesterday, called FaceB4 After Cleansing Serum. Then my holy grail product, the La Roche Posay Effacer Duo which is the best thing if you have break outs!
Onto the top section, here I just have the Lush Grease Lightning, which is a stop treatment. And my other favourite moisturiser which is the Ren Daily Supplement moisturiser, followed by a hair band.
The lastly I have a benefit it's potent eye cream which is amazing for night and day time under your make up, it also very moisturising! Then I have two lip balms one is a Balmi, which is put on a night because it's very smooth but moisturising at the same time. Then my day time lip balm is the Nuxe Reve De Miel, which is a wonderful lip balm for the price (£9.50), and finally I have a body shop Cranberry Bliss hand cream!

Winter skin care routine
Hello everyone,
When it comes to winter then things that changes the most for me personally is my skin, this means a winter skin care routine has to be put in place to ensure my skin stays healthy and hydrated, here's what it consists of...
My winter skin care routine -
Starting for the beginning, I start off with a cleanser to remove my makeup; I like to use a moisturising and hydrating one. The Lush Ultrabland facial cleanser is the best for ticking all theses boxes. It removes my makeup then I follow with a hot cloth to remove it, it doesn't leave my skin feel stripped just nice and moisturised.(Link)
After cleansing my face a moisturiser is needed, I have two my first one being the Ren Daily supplement moisturising cream. This is great for under my makeup because it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave a shiny film over my skin, this lets makeup sit really nicely over it as well. But at night if my skin is feeling quite tight and dry, I head straight for the Simple hydrating light moisturiser, this is perfect for dry skin I even use this just on dry areas.(Link)
As well as keeping your face hydrated your eye can dry out just as much, an eye cream is seen to be for the older generating; preventing fine lines and wrinkles. But I use one for moisture during the colder months. This is a travel size of Benefit It's Potent eye cream, this is lovely and thick for the evening to moisturise your eyes, this is very gentle and an amazing product, this lasts for ever because you only need a little bit.(Link)
We all know that around Christmas we eat a lot of rubbish especially when the quality street's open. This means we can be more prone to blemishes and spots, but as you know my favourite product for this is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, this is a holy grail item to reduce redness, swelling and size for any spot. This again lasts for a long time and is a saving grace!(Link)
Lastly onto lips, they can get very dry which can lead to feeling chapped, red and dry lips but my favourite lip balm which in't Palmers, is the Balmi Lip balm. This is a EOS Lip balm dupe but 100 times more moisutirsing. (Link)
