October Favourites 2015

Hello everyone,

I am finally doing a favourite post after months and months of not doing them, this month I feel as if I have actually had new favourite products to talk about.

I have discovred a face wash that works, the Witch pore minimising gel wash has been a life savour at the moment, I have noticed my pores are getting worse this is helping a lot, but because it has witch hazel it's working very well for calming down blemishes and spots. I have been using the face wipes at times, but this makes me feel refreshed in the morning and at night.

You may have seen in my haul that I brought this foundation which is the Benefit hello flawless oxygen wow foundation, this has been very easy to use in the morning for college, but it looks perfect and stays on very well. This is really good for keeping shine at bay as well, this makes you look awake and glowing.

A lot of you tubers and bloggers have been talking about the Olay hydration + radiant glow moisturiser, and I am so glad I brought this it's amazing! I use this after washing my face in the morning, it makes you look awake and moisturised, but it doesn't take 5 minutes to sink in it's really good for the money as well.

Onto a body spray, I have been carrying the Bath and Body works sprays with me to college as their travel size, this month I have been using the Sweet pea one! I have gotten so many compliments on this spray, it lasts a good amount of time and it perfect for school or college, such a shame we can't get them in the UK!

Onto makeup, another product from Benefit is the watt's up highlighter! This has been a solid favourite of mine this month, I apply this with my fingers on to the tops of my cheekbones, it stays for ages and looks flawless every time, this makes me look more awake especially when using it with the foundation.

A oldie but a goodie, I have been using Nars Laguna much more lately to contour, this is just a wonderful shades for bronzing and contouring, this gives definition without looking muddy. Also it's nice to find a bronzer that can work on pale skin, this is pricey but lasts for ages!

Two of my lipstick favourites this month have been Mac velvet teddy, which is my favourite nude and the most wearable lipstick ever I love it so much! When I am wearing less makeup I have been reaching for Chanel's rouge coco shine in 477 Reveuse, this is perfect for a not makeup makeup look, perfect nude and looks lovely on it's own and with a lip liner such as Mac spice!

Last but not least is the Mac paint pot in Paninterly, a great base to neutralise your lids as well as keeping your shadows staying all day. I have been using this every day with all my shadows, it's quick and easy, this can be used as a lid colour along with something in the crease for a effortless look.

Random Favourites -

Now I thought I would mention some of my random favourites of October and their is a lot of TV programmes, but my main two favourites at the moment are The Apprentice and Geordie Shore, I have always been excited for these to come on TV and they are so goo this year.

For a food favourite I have been loving yogurt covered raisins, they are so healthy for you but filling and they taste really good! I have also been a big fan of San Pellegrino in Orange, these are my favourite drinks all together but I have been loving them a lot more lately. Then last but not least is an app, I have been obsessed with Pinterest lately, I used to be really on and off about it but been loving it a lot! (Follow me here)

Can't believe we're coming to the end of the year already! Are you excited for Christmas yet?

September Favourites 2014

Hello everyone,

I am glad this isn't too late, but today I have my September favouirtes for you. I have a lot of beauty to talk about, with some randoms of course.

Beauty

The first thing I am going to start off with is the Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder, I use this before foundation and after primer, this keeps your makeup on for longer and you looking more matte. I also use this powder with the Real Techniques Duo Fibre face for a light dusting without applying too much. Moving onto primers, I have been loving the Bourjois Health Mix Matte Primer, this is very light and looks really nice under foundation, I also mix this into some foundation for a more luminous glow. Talking about keeping you matte and foundation on for longer, I have been using the NYX Matte Finish Setting spray, this isn't really wet and drys very quickly. I use this last to keep everything in place through out the day and it works well, just as good as the Urban Decay one. I do love filling in my brows and any brow products in general, I have been using the HD Brows Palette in Foxy to fill them in, then I use the Benefit Gimme Brow to set them in place, this creates a very nice but defined brow, and they go very well. I have a lot of lip products but not too many, I am going to start off with a lip balm, this is the Nuxe Reve De Miel, this is one of the best lip balms I have ever used, it's a thick moisturising paste and the best thing ever. Onto some thing more inexpensive, the Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me, has been a nice transition into Autumn for school and everyday. But now a pink lippy this is the Sleek Matte Me in Petal, this looks stunning and are not that drying at all.

Random

Random favourites are some of my favouirtes to talk about. I have been watching quite a lot of TV programmes last month. Education The East End is one of my favourites, I love seeing different schools and it makes you think more about the teachers in the respect that you get to see the impact it makes on them, good and bad. Then another medical programme I like is Saving Hope, it's very good and really different. I would highly reccomend you watching the series. The last programe is Who's Doing The Dishes, I love seeing in the celebrities houses, and it's a really god concept.

I have a few songs this month, the first one is Blame It In Me by George Ezra, Ella Eyre Comeback is amazing, Shift K3Y I know and lastly Vane Riptide. They are all amazing songs, 100% reccomend them.

August Favourites 2014

Hello everyone,

I have a monthly favourites post! I haven't done one of these in ages but just haven't felt as if their was a lot to show. But I can't believe we are in September already, this year is going so quick.

Where do I start...

When I was on the plane going to Turkey I brought a new perfume, which is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight. This is a very summery scent, I would describe it was a fruity floral, with top notes of Raspberry, Grapefruit and Pear. This is a perfect day scent.

On holiday their was only one blush and bronzer I was using, these are the Benefit Rocakteur and Hoola Boxed Powders, these are just perfect the blush gives you a natural rose gold flush, and Hoola gives you a lovely defined contour but natural, also good for all over bronzing.

The Sleek Matte Me in Petal, has been my go to lip product ever since I got it. This is the perfect light pink matte lip cream, this stays on for a good time and just look great.

Moving onto brows, I have been starting off using the Anastasia Brow Wiz to fill in my brows before I use my Brow Zings. This just makes your brows looks very defined and lovely. Then to highlight I have been using the Benefit High Brow Glow on the brow bone, one word perfect!

I have had this sample for a few months now but never really used it. This is Benefit's It's Potent eye cream, this is very moisturizing and rich for under the eyes, I use this morning and night and sits lovely under makeup.

On holiday I was wearing eye shadow a lot more, and for this I was using the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. I have been really liking this for a very natural eye, perfect for everyday. I have been wearing Venus all over the eye, Naked 2 in the crease and Faint in the outer V, also using Venus to highlight. So many options to choose from.

After sun is key when on holiday, and the Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Body Butter is amazing. It's rich and creamy without being too thick not to rub in. But this smells amazing and really hydrates your skin.

I have a great combination here, this is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, but to make it a light coverage I have been mixing the Nivea Light Moisturiser Day cream with it. This is just perfect together, very natural and light on the skin. If your wondering I add a decent amount to cover my face of the foundation, then I add a sweetcorn size amount of moisturiser and mix together.

Going back to scents, I have been wearing the Victoria's Secret Endless Love body spray a lot, I love throwing it in my bag and topping up during the day. It just smells amazing, I would definitely reccomend this.

A primer I have been using quite a lot if the Bare Minerals Prime Time face primer, this just makes my skin feel really soft and makes putting my makeup on look nicer and last longer aswell.

You know how much I love the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula lip balm (Original), it's great makes your lips so smooth and hydrated and it's just amazing, but very cheap aswell.

In Turkey it was very hot, and the Avene Thermal Spring Water was a life savoir! This is a really fine mist that is just amazing for cooling yourself down, I also have the mini one for my handbag, this takes a few seconds to dry but that's it.

I have a hair favourite, this is the Dove Style + Care Serum, you can apply this onto damp or dry hair, and it hydrates your ends a lot. When I was in Turkey I was using this everyday and my hair was very hydrated for a hot climate. This is just very good and you only need a little bit, so it will last you forever.

Also Taylor Swift, her performance of Shake It Off was so good and quite funny. But the biggest stand out for me was Miley Cyrus, she done the nicest thing letting this man collect an award for Miley but also share his story about being homeless, and Miley crying topped it for me.

Also I finished the book The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime, this is a book by Mark Haddon. I love this book I have read it twice now and I just love it because it's such an easy read. Also I an nearly finished with The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

Favourites// June 2014

Hello everyone,

I honestly am so shocked that we are in July! I go on holiday a month today and the time is flying by. But today I have my June Favourites for you, I have found some makeup last month that is part of my everyday routine now!

June Favourites 2014

My first favouirte is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation, I have the shade 51. This isn't recommended for oily skin but I really like it, as long as it covers and looks natural I can deal with the shiny skin during the day. I would reccomend this for everyone, but if you have oily skin bare with it and just carry a powder with you all the time. This looks very natural and flawless, light-medium coverage.

The brush I use for my foundation is the Real Techniques expert face brush, I did not like this before because I thought it was very scratchy and made my foundation look streaky. But now I love it I think it's very easy to use and makes blending and applying foundation look flawless in seconds.

Normally I switch my blush up everyday. But lately I have been going for the natural healthy glow, and for this I have been using the Benefit Rockateur blush this is rose gold, and looks amazing for a natural everyday look.

My last makeup favourite is the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist, this looks amazing with the Benefit blusher. I love it for a everyday natural school makeup look. Great to put in your blazer or makeup bag for touch ups because you don't really need a mirror.

My last favouirte, is this necklace I have been wanting a everyday necklace for ages. I found this one in Miss Selfridge and I love it so much. I have had so many compliments on it and I am obsessed. It is so dainty and perfect. (Link// Click here)

My monthly favouirtes!

My first favouirte has to be the Loreal Nutri Gloss Crystal Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been loving this for quite a while now, this makes me hair so silky and shiny! It smells amazing aswell and I love buying this partially because it's pink haha!

I have had this perfume for ages now since February and I have used i every day since, this is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Oh So Fresh, this is amazing for everyday and this has been my everyday or 'signature scent'.

I have been weirdly sniffing this candle for about a few weeks now and I decided to burn it. This is the Bomb Cosmetics Blissful Rest candle, this is a weird one to describe but it has a hint of lemon/citrus in it, and I am in LOVE with citrus.

Onto my makeup favouirtes, these are things I use everyday and I love them so much. The first thing is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface, this is great for everyday and it's matte so it goes with more or less every look. My next one is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, before I brought this I had 3 benefits boxed powders and Hoola was the one I would always put off buying but I love this and is great for contouring for fair skin. My last makeup favourite is the Benefit Brow Zings, I am so glad I brought this I love it so much and again put off buying it, I am in love and use it everyday great for defining your brows.

My last favouirte is a Technology one and this is my Kindle Paperwhite, I got this around two years ago and lately decided to give it some juice and I have not been putting it down since. My case is from WH Smiths and if you are wondering I am reading the Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime, this is an amazing book and hand down my favourite, I have had it for two years and just got half way. :/
