Let's Talk// MacBooks, Small Haul & Random

Hello everyone,

I have no purpose for this post, I just really want to write something so I thought I would just talk to you! This is really why I want my youtube channel back for this purpose. But I hope I don't bore you too much!

Small Tesco haul:

I went to Tesco today and I picked up these few things. I am going to holiday soon as I keep mentioning and I really want to try out more drugstore BB Creams other than my Maybelline one, I thought I would give this ago. It's the Rimmel BB Cream Skin Perfecting Super Makeup, this has SPF 25 and I got the shade 'Very light'. I also fell in love with this notebook from Tesco, it has loads of type writers on it and what I love the most is the pages inside they look so vintage and perfect. The BB cream was £6.99 I think and the book was £4.50.

MacBooks:

My very favouirte subject to talk about other than makeup and fashion and that is Macbooks. If you don't know I am saving up for one but I am also asking for money for my birthday (24th December) and for Christmas, I am hoping to get the Macbook Air 13.3" in 208 days (Boxing day). I have fallen in love with them! I am planning in my head what case I should get, I am going to get a Speck/ Speck equivalent to the Hard Shell case, but I am deciding weather to get the Michael Kors 13" Saffiano Sleeve for Macbook Air, but reviews say it's not that padded and I agree, this is £99.95. Or I was thinking about the Michael Kors Pocket Sleeve for Macbook Air 13" this is £69.95. I am basically asking for your help (Pictures on the side). If your wondering why I am doing this so far ahead and the answer is I need to make sure I leave enough time to get the money and have everything planned out with the price. So what do you think? Please comment below with what Michael Kors case your prefer and would be better!

The Random:

For the random I will start off with the most random, I need to mention to you a game. This is Pool nothing special but I am addicted, I would like to class myself as a pro! They are free one is called 'Pool' and the other one is '8 Ball Pool' if you put this into the app store you should find it! Also for the 8 ball pool by Miniclip if you search for a friend and put in 'Shelby Anna May O'Brien' you will be able to play with me! 

Also I just want to thank you! This is for nothing big apart from saying a massive thank you for being there reading me ramble on about something interesting; I hope anyways. But to everyone who reads my blog thank you from the bottom of my heart you mean the world to me. And for people to read my blog that I spend so much time and effort on it means so much, I can't put it in words!

May Favourites 2014

Hello everyone,

I am finally doing a monthly favouirtes but it's on time for once! I was going to do my Summer essentials. But I have a few of my favouirtes for you today that I have been loving through out the end of April to today!

My monthly favouirtes!

My first favouirte has to be the Loreal Nutri Gloss Crystal Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been loving this for quite a while now, this makes me hair so silky and shiny! It smells amazing aswell and I love buying this partially because it's pink haha!

I have had this perfume for ages now since February and I have used i every day since, this is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Oh So Fresh, this is amazing for everyday and this has been my everyday or 'signature scent'.

I have been weirdly sniffing this candle for about a few weeks now and I decided to burn it. This is the Bomb Cosmetics Blissful Rest candle, this is a weird one to describe but it has a hint of lemon/citrus in it, and I am in LOVE with citrus. 

Onto my makeup favouirtes, these are things I use everyday and I love them so much. The first thing is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface, this is great for everyday and it's matte so it goes with more or less every look. My next one is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, before I brought this I had 3 benefits boxed powders and Hoola was the one I would always put off buying but I love this and is great for contouring for fair skin. My last makeup favourite is the Benefit Brow Zings, I am so glad I brought this I love it so much and again put off buying it, I am in love and use it everyday great for defining your brows. 

My last favouirte is a Technology one and this is my Kindle Paperwhite, I got this around two years ago and lately decided to give it some juice and I have not been putting it down since. My case is from WH Smiths and if you are wondering I am reading the Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nighttime, this is an amazing book and hand down my favourite, I have had it for two years and just got half way. :/

Random//

Now for some random favourites to start off with I have to mention some TV favourites, I have been loving Eastenders, Coronation Street and Ex on the beach. I highly reccomend these! For some food favouirtes I have been obsessed with the Mini Fabs, Mr Freeze ice and Milky Bar ice lollies, there is something about them being small, I guess you feel your not eating as much either! Last of all is Music favourites they are Foxes, I love Let's go for tonight, Youth and Holding on to heaven. The Coldplay I watched there BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend performance and they were amazing I love Yellow, Clocks, Paradise and A sky full of stars. I got to see Coldplay at the Summer Time Ball in 2012 and I am so happy I did they were amazing/ out of this world.

Haul// New Look, Primark & more

Hello everyone,

I have another haul for you today I mentioned in my boohoo haul (click here) that I would have another haul for you. As I also said I am going on holiday is 66 days to Turkey and I need to buy things for it, so you will have quite a lot of hauls coming your way; I hope you don't mind!

New Look//

I am in love with this outfit it's both from New Loo, this skirt is a midi skirt with bright pink flowers this looks amazing with this crop top from New Look aswell. I am brought the heels I am wearing these are from Primark and fit amazing!

I have brought these shorts from Primark and I love them so much they are only £4 and great for walking around on Holiday or round the pool/beach. They are so comfy and they have a lot of different prints and patterns.

From Topshop I got another one of these scalloped tops, they are amazing great for the hot weather because they are thin and light, they can go with everything and look amazing with everything from shorts or jeans. I think these are around £10

From Lush I picked up some things I didn't need. But I have been wanting to try the Strawberry Feels massage bar for ages now and I got that. I also go Butterball, Sakura and Fizzbanger.

It's my friends birthday on the 9th of July, and this is what I got her it's all from Superdrug.

These are a few of the beauty items I have brought, I just have a new deodrant this is the Dove Maximum protection, I also picked up another Biore cleaners. Then because I am going on holiday I have piicked up the Hawaiian Tropic after sun body butter and the face sun cream (fwi these smell amazing!) and I picked up the Garnie Ambire Solaire spf 30 oil. 

I also brought some basic tops for my holiday from Primark!

Let's Talk and Tag// Girl Power

Hello everyone,

I just watched Dulce's video on the girl power tag and I loved it. It is a tag all about girl power, this is a tag I am very very happy and excited to be doing. I tag all the girls reading this to do this tag, even if you answer them in the comments.

1. What does girl power mean to you? For me girl power means just all sticking up for each other, being nice friendly. And just being there for each other even if you hardly every talk. Instead of bitching about each other just be nice and respectful. Because I think if you are going to bitch about someone behind there back it is going to come and bite you right back, for example you could have been really horrible to someone and when you need some help and they are only around, you are going to want to wish you were nicer to them. 

2. What is the best advice you can give to girls who want to be powerful? I would say give it a try, if you aspire to have a beauty blog for example give it a go and try your best to succeed. But if it doesn't work out their is other things for you and maybe it isn't meant to be.

3. If you could have a super power, what would it be and how would you use it? This is kind of a hard one because I would agree with Dulce and say a healing power. But apart from that I would just like to be there for everyone and to help everyone out in some sort of way or another, for example if someone way going through a hard time with money or at school I would like to travel there and give them a hand, weather that it talking to them or giving them money/food.

4. Show us your best girl power pose! I don't have a picture but i'll find one... (Left) I think this shows power, strength and confidence.

5. What beauty product makes you feel powerful? I am going to have to cheat, I have two products and that is a foundation like Mac's Studio Fix Fluid or the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. The my other product is my Benefit Brow Zings, when I am wearing these I feel I can conquer the world.

6. Why is it important to have power girls as role models? I think it's important to have the right role models for the right reasons. For example some people I can think who are great role models are Talia Joy and Emma Watson, because Talia Passed away last year and she has just showed older people that it's ok and she was just so positive over the whole situation. Emma Watson is a great role model I think because she is very intelligent even though she has a lot of money she still graduated and she is helping people. I also think a good role model is someone who cares for one another and someone who does the right tings and sets out the right messages to younger audiences. In English we was talking about celebrities who have changed for wrong reasons and we all mention Miley Cyrus, Tulisa, Macaulay Culkin and Russel Brand.

7. Which rising start do you think has girl power? This is really hard I think anyone who is growing up in this day and age. This is such a hard time to grow up in because you have competition everywhere you go, everyone is wanting something for later life weather that is a job or money. I admit I am 15 and I stuggle just going to school and doing what I am meant to be doing. But in later life trying to get yourself seen for good reasons, like when your going for job interviews getting your self seen for better reasons than everyone else there.

Haul// Boohoo

Hello everyone,

I promised you a haul and here we are, this is going to be a haul from Boohoo.com. I have been wanting to order some things from there for a while and I have brought some things for my holiday in August. Sorry the pictures aren't the best they are 'selfie' style. Also expect another haul this week!

I love this dress, this just screams holiday to me because of the palm trees, I love the colours and this is a very basic body con dress that you can dress up and down. This would be perfect with some statement/simple jewelry and a clutch. (Link// Click here) - £8

I am obsessed with this bodycon dress everyone needs a LBD (little black dress). I have a few now but this is by far my favouirte, I love the elegant detail on the top of the dress. This looks amazing on, flattering and so different. (Link// Click here) - £18

This has to be one of my favourites, I love the skort it's so comfy and is so effortless to wear, this looks amazing with this this off the shoulder crop top. They are both very versatile pieces and can be worn for loads of different things and pared with different things. (Links// Click here £20 and here £6)

I am in love with this outfit, I love the bodycon skirt the colours are so nice, I hardly ever wear blue and I love this with the same off the shoulder top in white, this is so flattering and can be worn with everything, these are both such key pieces for anyones wardrobe. The last thing I ordered is this black bodycon skirt, I needed just another plain one. I got this top from New Look, I found this skirt from Lipsy that I needed but I have found pratically the same top and just pared it with a black skirt. (Link// Click here £5)

Workout Wednesday// Drinking more water!

Hello everyone,

I have to admit I am one for not drinking much water, but when I start drinking more I have a few days of drinking so much water, to a day where I can't stand drinking and have a drink at 2pm. But I want to share with you two ways to keep you hydrated and drinking more water.

Having a cute cup//

You may think this is a wierd one, but I brought this Tumblr from Paperchase and I drink much more from it. I think this is very cute and I just really like it, personally having something cute to drink out from is much ncier than drinking from just a plain glass. It keeps me kind of motivated and it makes me want to drink from it.

A app//

I am always on my phone and I thought having an app that can remind me to drink more water is the best because it can send you notifications. This app is called 'Water Balance' this helps you keep track of how much water you are drinking, you press the + button and you can add all different drinks from Water to Alchol, you also add the amount and it tells you how much water you are drinking, this picture also shows you how much you need to drink to have enough. This is great because it also shows you the percentage, weather and this also gives you facts about drinking more water. Also it awards you badges for various things, I am on the expert one because 'I learnt the full qualities of water'.

Tag// Lip Product Addict

Hello everyone,

I saw Amelia and Estee make this tag and I had to do it, and it's all about lip products, from you favourite balm to you highend favourite. And of course I have more than one for some questions but oh well.

I am a lip product addict.

1. Favourite balm/treatment? - My favourite lip balms are the Burt's Bees nourishing lip butter with Mango and the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula original lip balm. These are both amazing hydrating lip balms, they feel amazing under and over lipsticks, with a lip scrub they are the perfect two.  

2. Best eye-catching red? - I am not a big red fan, I prefer more of a sheer red. I have choosen the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Plum Jam. This is an amazing every day red not too bright or dark. I really want to try more red lipsticks, if you have any favouirtes leave them below.

3. Best luxury & best drugstore? - This was the easiest question to answer, my drugstore favouirte is the Revlon matte lipstick in Pink Pout, this is one of my first lipsticks and I wear it all the time; perfect for everyday. My high end lipsticks are the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 74 and 70, the packaging is stunning and the colours are great for everyday. 74 (Parfait) is a perfect light pink with a hint of pink shimmer. And 70 (Sourire) this is a great pink for everyday with slight shimmer. These are amazing lipsticks for everyday and I would highly reccomend these lipsticks.

4. Best MAC lipstick? - This was really easy for my to choosen and Angle (Frost) is my favourite, this is the best everyday lipsticks, this looks amazing with every look, it doesn't look over the top or too nude. This is great if your looking for a pinky nude lipsticks for everyday.

5. The most disappointing? - My most dissapointing lip product is going to come to a shock to some, but it's the NYX Mega Shine lipgloss in La La, the colour isn't too bad but I don't lip the smell, I find these quite sticky aswell. Also I don't like the packaging either. I want to try another colour the one Beige I think.

6. Liner, yes or no? - I have to admit I am not the biggest lip liner fan, but I do wear it sometimes if I really want a lipstick to last. My go to one is the Rimmel Exaggerate Liner in 003 Eastend Snob. I brought this because Sammi recommended the Revlon lipstick and said this looks amazing under it and it does. 

7. Best gloss? - I have picked a drugstore which is the Tanya Burr Lipgloss in First Date, this is a perfect baby/pale pink, this looks great over Mac's Angel, this smells amazing and is not sticky. My highend favouirte is the Chanel Lipgloss in 166, this is stunning and looks amazing on it's own and over lipsticks.

8. Something Extra! - For something extra I have chosen the Revlon Lip in Sweet Tart, I have mentioned this in a posts and this looks great dabbed in for everyday and applied generously for a brighter more daring look.

Let's Talk// Exams, Requests and money

Hello everyone,

I have no purpose for this let's talk apart from I just want to updated you on a some things. Also because I feel I haven't updated you in a while, I don't have anything too exciting but the real reason is it's late and I have nothing to do.

Exams//

If you didn't know I had to do my last Spanish exam and this was a reading and listing paper, well I have now done all my Spanish exams. I don't have any exams (real ones) until next year, I only have a mock in English, Maths and Science next month apart from coursework. This means I can slowly relax for a few months, and more blog posts, I am really excited about this because I have enjoy a few months of some things I am passionate about and love doing i.e my blog.

Having a schedule//

I have contemplated having a blog upload schedule but I know I will never have some perfect days. I will always be doing workout wednesday, but I am going to try and plan to upload posts on Monday, Wednesday and one over the weekend, I am not sure weather Friday or Sunday is best let me know what you think. I would probaily do other blog posts on other days of the week but they are the three day that I want to dedicate and focus on being a uploading day.

Saving money//

I can not save money for the life of me but I am going to try. I am going on holiday on the 4th August and I want to save some money to spend at the airport on makeup I don't need. I am going to try so hard to save £100 and anything above it a bonus. I am going to start saving money again when I get back of holiday because I am 16 this year on the 24th December, and for Christmas and my birthday I am asking for a Macbook Air 13". Because this is expensive I want to show my parents I am dedicated to wanting one and I am willing to help them out.

What to upload?

I am really struggling to find what to upload, I want to do more beauty posts but I have no idea what on so please help by telling me what you would like to see beauty, fashion and lifestyle wise. I am going to do a beauty tag and a haul either tomorrow or Thursday. I am thinking a what's on my Iphone and Ipad or anything else.

Also I can't waite till I go on holiday because this means a few hauls I have coming up a Boohoo one very soon and some random hauls after. Aswell as hauls I can do a lot of travelling posts, I done a series last year called "Let's travel" and I am going to do that this year aswell, this includes What's in my travel makeup bag and carry on, aswell as anything else you want to see.

Spring/Summer Wishlist

Hello everyone,

I am sorry I haven't been doing regular posts but this week I am on half term and I have been doing quite a bit of shopping so expect quite a few hauls. But one of my favouirte things to do at the moment is wish lists, this is everything I really would like for spring and summer.

Spring/Summer wishlist

I might as well get the random and non summer related thing out of the way, and that is a Mac Book Air, I need a new laptop and for Chrsitmas and my birthday I am going to ask for a Mac book air, they are juts so perfect!

I am going to start of with Topshop. If you didn't know I am obsessed with their Joni Jeans, I was going to buy a pair yesterday but they didn't have my size (sad face). I love the dark navy blue they are juts perfect and will go with everything. But I have been looking at this other pair for ages it's a white pair of Joni jeans with the light blue damask like print on them, they are stunning but I don't know if I could pull them off. Another thing for Topshop and it's this 'La Vie Boheme' this is french for 'The Bohemian Life', I love tops in different languages, they are stunning and this would go with everything. The last Topshop thing is their Lip Bullets, I swatched them yesterday (stunning btw) and have amazing staying power.

I have been in love with Boohoo, I am expecting a delivery from them today. But I am in love with this playsuit, I love the colours and the gold belt that goes along with it. Also I love wearing bodycon skirts on holiday, and I am in love with this pink one with grey, black and white flowers, this can go with so many things for day to night. 

Now a few random things, I have sprayed this Marc Jacobs perfume and can't stop thinking about it. This would be perfect for summer because it's a light summery scent. Also Benefit have released some tinted lip balms, I love these colours and the packaging and they are £14.50 I think which I think is reasonable. As you may know I am going to Turkey on the 4th of August (68 days :D) and I am really would like some black Toms for traveling and during the day, they are so comfy and I love them. The last thing is the Lipsy Kimono I have been wanting one for a while and tried this on and I love the pattern and colours, perfect for summer because it's very light and flowy.

Workout Wednesday// A Healthy Breakfast idea

Hello everyone,

I didn't really know what to do today, but I thought I would share with you a healthy breakfast idea, this is quite quick and easy if you are on a rush and tastes amazing. 

A healthy breakfast 

What you need to start off with is a few dollops of Natural Greek Yogurt, I just used the Tesco one. They I sliced some apples into small chunks, and cut some grapes in half, after I thew in some raspberries, almonds and honey. This is amazing it tastes so nice and healthy. 

You can switch the combinations up for this, I like to use strawberries aswell but you can use whatever your heart desires. I would try this if I was you!

My Current Favourites!

I done one of these a few months ago I think, and it's just me telling you some things I have been loving. I have more beauty but a few randoms. You can think of this like a very late monthly favourites. 

Beauty

I have been trying to use more of my foundations up, and I have turned to the Maybelline Superstay 24hr, this is amazing, I mix it with the Rimmel Match Perfection because I haven't got much left. These are amazing together the finish is no natural and it says on for ages, it keeps me more matte than other and I don't have to top up powder during the day. Then to apply this I have been loving the Real Techniques foundation brush, I hated this but I love it know it gives a natural finish and sheers out foundation a lot which I love for school. 

I have fallen back in love with the Mac Studio finish concealer, I lost this for around a year and found it a few weeks ago. I love this so much with the Real Techniques Detailer Brush, it looks amazing and covers a lot! Another concealer I have been loving is the Garnier Roll on (the one with concealer in it), this is very light, good coverage and this just highlights so well. I have been using this a lot for a highlight down the bridge of my nose, cheek bones, cupids bow and inner corners/brow bone.

Then I have been wanting to change my lip colour for spring, but going to school it has to be natural. I have been using the Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart, to make this more natural and wearbable for school I have been dabbing/small light strokes down. This is a perfect light pink, a step up from a nude but without being too bright.

Well this is going to sound unhealthy but Mcdonalds Crisscuts, Oh my they are perfection I am not sure if they still have them because they were limited edition. Also Smartie Mcfulrys as it's getting warm in England.

I have also been loving fruit a lot! Especially Raspberries, Strawberries and Oranges.

Random//

I have been loving my Nike Roshe Run trainers at the moment, I think they are stunning and I love them so much, they are so comfy more like slippers.

Also the Body Shop strawberry Lip butter and shower gel. They smell amazing and do amazing things.
