Motivational Frames

Hello everyone,

After reading Love Tanya (read my book review here), I have been thinking a lot about where I want to be and what I want to do in 5, 10, 15 + years. To keep me motivated and happy I have done a motivational frame board where I got this idea from Dolly Bow Bow when she done a video about her room tour (click here).

I have had this frame lying around my house for a month now, and never had a use for it. This is a photo frame college from Wilkinson which was around £18. These size of this is 6 by 4 inches, which is a standard picture size.

For my frame I had a theme of motivation and my dreams/goals. I started off using some postcards that I brought from Paperchase, they do some lovely post cards and at such a cheap and affordable price. Also with my other pictures I got them all off Tumblr.

Because I wanted to plan out where I was going to put everything, I decided to put a put some post it notes on where I was going to put each picture. Also once I found my photos on Tumblr I put them on Pages to resize the, to 6 by 4 inches.

This is what my final frames turned out like, as I mentioned above I chose pictures that make me happy but motivated to achieve my goals. I chose this picture of a man and women in Christian Louboutin shoes because it such a powerful, but lovely photo. Then also this postcard saying 'Smile' is from paper chase, and it just cheers you up. Then the Eiffel Tower because I really would love to go to Paris one day. Then I have a row of quotes one saying 'Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feel on the ground.' then another one saying 'Do what you love' I put this is the middle because it is very true and makes me want to achieve and to do what I love. Then the infinity smuggler because it looks beautiful and means a lot of things. Then lastly I have another two postcards from paper chase, then a picture of a beach at the bottom because I love being my the sea and on beaches because I feel relaxed and calm.

I think this is a great idea, and recommend everyone to do it because it does remind to you stay happy.

Christmas Room Decor

Hello everyone,

I am very excited to tell you that I have Blogmas day 7 here for you, but this is my Christmas Room Decor, I am very excited for this post because I love Christmas and my room looks very cute and festive. Also it isn't over the top with Christmas.

Let's go...

I have this Noel sign from Poundland, I have placed this on my desk behind my laptop, it's small enough and doesn't look tacky in my opinion, also it looks like it's been done by hand to add a undone look to it. (Link)

Also on the end of my desk, I have placed this sign which says 'Have yourself a merry little Christmas'. Then I also have this Christmas Spice candle and this tiny glitter tree candle. I have found the sign and tree candle from a shop in my town and the red candle is from Sainsburys a few years ago.

These lights are the cutest, they are from Clas Ohlson. They are just little snowmen with hats and scarfs on. I have just put them along my window sill.

This is one of the cutest things I have brought, again it's from a shop in my town. But this is a wicker star decoration, with a hanging heart in the middle. I have also put this on my window sill with the snowmen lights.

This hanging Christmas countdown sign is from The Card Factory, this is so cute and I have just hung it with a memo board. Also you change the days at the back.

Then on my bed side table, I have this red velvet stag from Wilkinsons. I love how much this stands out, I also have another tree candle and red candle from TkMaxx.(Link)

I have my little Christmas tree again that I had last year, this is from Paperchase as well as all the decorations on it. I have also added some mini gold and white crackers to the tree as well.(Link)

I had my eye on this for such a long time (well a month...), this hanging heart is from Homebase, but what I love about this is that it lights up in the dark it's stunning! I have a picture of this in the dark on my instagram (linked at the bottom of this post).

On my bedroom window and mirror, I have these gel Christmas decorations, these are very cute and I got them from Poundland. They don't transfer and peel on and off very easily, I have a Ho Ho Ho, Let it snow and penguin on my window. (Link)

That is everything, I want to know how you have decorated your room for Christmas! Comment below

Bedroom & Bathroom Décor

Hello everyone,

I have wanted to do this blog post for a while now, and I thought while both rooms are clean and I have some spare time it was the perfect opportunity. In my opinion when it comes to decorating a room, the furniture, walls, floor is essential but room decor makes a room feel more homely.

Bathroom - Sea themed

I love quirky little accents to a room, this is so funny and cute for the bathroom. We got this from Next and hung it above the window. Little plaques are a perfect way to complete a room and add more to it, but you don't see many things like this in a bathroom, it's very different.

In our Toilet we have two corner shelves, and on one we have this scent from the Sanctuary Spa in the scent Classic. We don't like burning candles in the toilet because it's too over powering but room diffusers are the best.

In bathrooms I love these word plaques they are very chic. This one is very nice because it loos quite rustic and vintage. This goes very well with our theme. This fits very well by the bath and it makes you relax more I think. This is also from Next in the same theme as the whale one.

Accents complete a room, especially in bathrooms it's hard to decorate and hang things all the time. I put these jars on the window ledge from next, and filled them with shells and pebbles,to keep the sea theme going.

I love matching things if you can't tell. Instead of having a boring soap container we brought this pair from Next, they are so cute, they also add something different.

Bedroom - Paris themed

As I was saying I love cute things to bring a room together, when I was in Turkey I bought these Russian Dolls. I have always wanted some of these, they are beautiful!

Above my desk I have hung up these three canvas's, they are cute and vintage. They are something different to looks at. Also the black fluff on one of them is my dog's hair. I love having canvas's in my room because they are different.

Organising things in a cute way brings a lot to your room. It looks very cute in boxes. I have my perfumes in this box aswell as my scents. Then my Lush products are in this massive glass jar, them hair and body in a wicker basket. These are all from next.

When I was younger I had a pink fluffy rug by my bed. And I wanted another one ever since. I got this one from Ikea and this looks really nice with my Ugg Slippers.

To make a bed look extra comfy and perfect. Cushions and pillows makes it look perfect. These are from Next and Primark.

Decorating my bedside table makes my look look complete in my opinion. I keep the top of it very simplistic, I keep a notebook, pen, my kindle, wreck this journal and Michael Kors bangle on top. As well as my Yankee Candle tea light and my Argos lamp. I love this because it is so different.

Another canvas... This looks amazing on top of my world map wall art. This canvas is from Dunelm mill and the wall art is from Next. This matches my room very well and looks really cool when the light sparkles on the glitter Eiffel Tower.

I hope to show you more Room Decor soon. Comment below what your room decor favourites and tips are.

Haul// Stationery, Beauty, Room Decor and more

Hello everyone,

I have a haul for you, I was going to split this into separate different ones but thought I would put it all in one to save time. I have some things from a bit of everywhere it feels, enjoy!

The first things are from Tesco, I brought some more notebooks because they were £1.50 for a pack of two (pink and blue). I brought three packets because I thought I could have one for all of my lessons, to write down revision etc. Then I also got a back of the Bic Ball Point Crystal pens (A.K.A My favourites), these came with blue, black, red and green and were quite cheap.

I also got these pencil from Tesco, they came in a pack of 3, I thought they looked quite nice and I need pencil all the time because I feel they always break, I lose then or people borrow them but never return them, so their back ups basically. Then if you didn't know I love Paperchase and I found this notebook and I fell in love with it, it was £3 but I love that it's not a big one, with the spiral back.

Flash cards are amazing when revising, I swear by them all the time and I picked up three packets from WHSmiths, the blue ones are a variety pack of four colours. Then moving on I brought this clear pouch from Paperchase and I just have some page markers from WHSmiths and this 4 colour pen from Rymans. This is a revision folder necessities, I also have a few revision cards in here.

I brought two binders from Paperchase, I thought this would be good to keep revision notes and things in. The one of the left is so cute, I love the colours and patters this was £3. The the one of the right is a fabric material binder this was £4, also these binders are the smaller ones.

I love cushions for my bed, I went into Primark expecting to fall in love with all of them but, surprisingly they didn't have too many I loved. But the one on the left is a stunning white one with a crochet over lay. Then the one on the right is a Paris cushion a lovely grey colour. The white one was £5 and the Paris one was £4.

I think I mentioned in my latest wishlist that I wanted the Bourjois Happy Light primer, and I decided to give it a go but I brought the matte one, this was around £10. Also when I was in Superdrug I brought a new toner, I went for the Garnier Pure Active Pore Purifying toner because my Nars one is running very low. Then another cushion... I brought this from Next to choice because it was only £2.99 RRP was £7.99, this just has a painting type design saying 'All Shopped Out!' I wanted this because her shoes look like they have red soles ;)

I poped into Poundland for some reason, but I brought some 14 clear pockets for Binders. Then I picked up two deodorants one is the Garnier Mineral invisicool and the other is the invisicalm for after shaving.

I was in Rymans and saw these Sharpies for only £9.99, when they are £20, but in WHSmiths these are £6.99 so go to WHSmiths. But I love these for revision and they are so good, and so is this pack. Moving on I went into Homebase and fell in love with this lamp, I have this on my bedside table and I just love how different it looks, it reminds me of lego? but this was only about £10 I think, they also have white, purple and pink.

And back on to stationary, this is the last I promise! I brought these binder separators from WHSmiths because they are so cute, and they are plastic! Then I got these envelope type binder inserts, they were a pack of 5 and are great for loose papers and flash cards.

My bedroom is Paris/floral themed, and I found another Paris Canvas from Dunelm Mill this was £12 and I love it, this looks stunning and the Eiffel Tower is actual glitter and it looks amazing. The I was in Tesco today and was browsing the clearance section and found these pack of 3 canvass for only £2.50! They are so cute and I love the pastal colours!

That is everything I have brought over this weekend, it's quite a lot but oh wells! What have you brought recently? Comment below

Desk Tour and Organisation

Hello everyone,

I am so excited to do this blog post today because I love organising things. Lately I have been organising my new desk that I talked about in my Ikea Haul. This is why I thought I would share with you my organisation for it and what I have stored in it.

I have mentioned that I got my desk from Ikea and I love it, it's perfect, I love that is has a lot of room on the actual top because I like to spread out and the 5 drawer storage is perfect for the things that you don't want on show.

Also having a bin under you desk means you don't have to have rubbish piling up on your desk, also the two white boxes are great for little things you may need to have a lot of the times like headphones etc.

It's always key to have a good comfy chair if your going to be working on it for hours on end, mine is from Ikea and it's very comfy, I just added a cute pillow on it for extra comfort which is from Primark. Also if your wondering my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 in the colour Passion Purple, but it's soon going to be a Apple Macbook!

On my desk I like to always have things that I love, for example I have this Bomb Cosmetics Blissful Rest candle. Aswell as a sign that says Keep calm and hug a dog. Then I have three pen pots also from Ikea this is just holding my pens and pencils. Last of all I have a few Chanel Bags, on big on the wall and a small one which is holding from fake flowers from Wilkinsons. Also I have my laptop on a stand from Ikea.

On the other side I have two Yankee Candles on is Fruit Fusion and Bunny Cake (Limited Edition for Easter 2014). I have this drink coaster which is from Curioity in Swanage, and these two white boxes from Ikea.

On top of the boxes are a few things, also known as my life! I have this notepad for notes and here I have just wrote a few things I need to buy which is from Staples. Then I have this organiser from John Lewis and this frame from Splosh.

On to the boxes in the top one I just have some headphones, but in the bottom one I have a  lot of magazines mainly Company because they are my favouirte.

In the top draw I have this Ikea insert which I have cut in half to fit into the draw. I just have some post it notes, paperclip, Glue and the basics for stationary. But in the box on the right I have my most used Jewelry and some random things.

In the second one I have two packs of record cards, a lip balm, scisiors, a ruler, sharpner/rubber, ruler and glue.

I have a few notebooks and a school planner in this one. Aswell as a hand cream, a Teenager teddy and a egg ornament.

I just have my school stationary in here, aswell as a Jack Wills notebook and a fashion book.

Finally in the last draw I have some black and white card, a Lot of revision books and my Ted Baker Pencil Case.
